Tasting Note :
The wine has a deep ruby color. The floral is marked by nutmeg, cloves, which are very much ahead of ripe fruits like blackcurrants. A bit too much and on the first ball for this rank of wine. The wine shows signs of maturation, we find undergrowth, leather tobacco. It is dry in the mouth, the texture is velvety, which is unfortunately very rare on our meridians. The mouthfeel is distinctly fruity and spicy, in a New World style. Medium length. Be sure to decant!
The wine is distinct with plenty of structure and charge for aging, but the somewhat short aftertaste calls for caution.
