Tasting Note :
A large village located at the beginning of the Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin has one of the largest areas of planted vines: no fewer than 815 acres in production. Altitude varies between 787 and 919 feet. The soils are limestone, with a good proportion of clay marl originating in scree from the Combe de Lavaux, giving concentration and roundness.
